Master of II level in Pharmaceutical Technology and Regulatory Affairs

The Master Course is a course of scientific specialization and high permanent and recurrent training at the end of which, after passing a final exam, it gives the title of University Master's II Degree.

The course is organized in collaboration with the University of Pavia, and the University of Perugia, with the Interuniversity Consortium of Innovative Pharmaceutical Technology "TEFARCO INNOVA" and AFI, Association Farmaceutici Industria.

The Master has the following objectives: to provide advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology for the improvement of higher education and degree holders or specialistic degree.

The professional opportunities of the course are:

  • research laboratories and development of the pharmaceutical industry (both in human and animal), cosmetics and food products;
  • in hospitals that require a thorough base for the technology;
  • Doctoral courses in pharmaceutical technology;
  • in public bodies directed to the control of medicinal products for human and veterinary use and food.

The course has an annual duration and includes didactic activity, guided study, interactive teaching and an internship period.

To all of the above activities, complemented by the commitment to be given to the study and individual preparation, corresponds to a total volume of work equivalent to 1500 hours corresponding to 60 Credits in accordance with DM 22/10/2004 n. 270.

The attendance to course is mandatory for at least 75% of the lectures, the course is part-time and the lessons will be held normally on Friday.

The beginning of the activity is planned for the month of February and the deadline for the month of December.

The Master Course is a programmed number.

The minimum number of participants to activate the Course is 5 units, while the maximum number of 15 participants.

Requirements

Admission to the course is subject to passing a selection which is open to those who, at the time of selection, are in possession of one of the following qualifications:

  • Degree LM13 (Pharmacy and industrial pharmacy); Degree LM9 (Medical Biotechnology, veterinary and pharmaceutical); Degree LM41  (Medicine and Surgery); Degree LM8 (Industrial Biotechnology);
  •      one of the degrees above the laws previously in force;
  •      Degree in science and proven experience of at least 2 years in pharmaceutical companies.

For admission to the course is required to pass a selection in the manner specified in the notice available at the University website http://www.unipr.it/didattica/corsi-post-laurea/master-universitari

The course is part-time and takes place from February to December, usually on Friday afternoon.

It is compulsory to frequency of at least 75% of lessons.

The internship provides 1000 hours of activity required.
