Training course on Health and Safety in the workplace a.y. 2026-2027

Students are required to attend the training course on health and safety in the workplace.

Completion of the above-mentioned Health and Safety in the Workplace Course is an essential requirement for participating in the laboratory activities included in relevant courses and for undertaking an internship.

The Health and Safety in the Workplace Course is delivered online through the new Elly Formazione 2026 platform: https://elly2026.formazione.unipr.it.

The course has a total duration of 16 hours and consists of the following modules:

• General Training Module — duration: 4 hours;
• Specific Training Module — Laboratory Activities — duration: 12 hours.

The online training must be supplemented by specific specialist training, delivered in person by the lecturer responsible for the Teaching and Research Activity (RADRL), before laboratory activities begin.

Additional courses are available on the new Elly platform under the section Safety — Additional Training Not Mandatory for Specific Activities. These courses must be completed exclusively by students identified by the lecturer responsible for the laboratory activities, based on the specific activities to be performed.

• Ionising Radiation: Unsealed Sources — duration: 2 hours;
• Peroxides and Peroxide-Forming Compounds — duration: 1 hour.

The course can be accessed through the https://elly2026.formazione.unipr.it/ portal by clicking the login button in the top-right corner of the page. Follow the steps below:

1. Click “Login” in the top-right corner.
2. Select “Università di Parma” from the drop-down menu.
3. Log in using your University credentials.
4. Go to the first section, “Sicurezza” (“Safety”).
5. Click “Vai ai corsi” (“Go to courses”).
6. Select “Corsi di sicurezza in ITALIANO” (“Safety courses in ITALIAN”).
7. Select “Corsi di formazione per lavoratori” (“Training courses for workers”).
8. Select Formazione generale (4 ore) (“General Training — 4 hours”) to complete Module 1.
9. Select Formazione specifica – Attività di laboratorio (12 ore) (“Specific Training — Laboratory Activities — 12 hours”) to complete Module 2.

The course is also available in English. In this case, select :

• “Corsi sicurezza in INGLESE”
• Training Courses for Workers, then complete:

1. General Training (4 hours) for Module 1;
2. Specific Training – Laboratory Work (12 hours) for Module 2.

At the end of each module, you must pass the relevant final test.

After passing the test, you can download a Certificate of Attendance from the Elly platform. This certificate provides official evidence that you attended and completed the course.

The lecturer responsible for the laboratory sessions included in your programme of study will ask you to present certificates confirming completion of the safety course before the laboratory sessions begin. Students who do not have these certificates will not be allowed to access the laboratories.

You will be notified by email when the final certificates become available. You will then be able to download them by accessing your curriculum formativo.

The online training must be supplemented by specific specialist training, delivered in person by the lecturer responsible for the Teaching and Research Activity (RADRL), before laboratory activities begin.

Certificates from previous courses will be considered valid ONLY if they were issued by the University of Parma no more than five years ago.

➡️ IF YOU HOLD UNIPR CERTIFICATES ISSUED MORE THAN FIVE YEARS AGO
Students who completed the UNIPR safety course more than five years ago MUST complete the following module through the https://elly2026.formazione.unipr.it/ portal:

• Specific Training Module — Laboratory Activities — duration: 12 hours.

Students who completed a safety course at another university or organisation MUST complete the following modules through the  https://elly2026.formazione.unipr.it/ portal:

• General Training Module — duration: 4 hours;
• Specific Training Module — Laboratory Activities — duration: 12 hours.

➡️ IF YOU ONLY HOLD CERTIFICATES FOR MODULES 1 AND 2 FROM THE PREVIOUS ELLY TRAINING COURSE

Students who completed only Modules 1 and 2 of the previous safety training course MUST complete the following module through the https://elly2026.formazione.unipr.it/ portal:

• Specific Training Module — Laboratory Activities — duration: 12 hours.
