Focus Area 2A - Improve the economic performance of all farms and encourage restructuring and modernization of farms, in particular to increase market share and market orientation as well as diversification of activities. Leader: OpenFields s.r.l. Project objective:The project aims to identify the combinations of ancient genotypes belonging to the genus Triticum, which sown at the same time in the same plot, and then grown in a mixture in organic cultivation, show the best performance in terms of field yield and susceptibility to first and second processing. TERRE DELL'OLIVO is a project implemented under the Regional Rural Development Program 2014-2020 - Type of Operation 16.1.01 - Operational groups of the European Innovation Partnership: "agricultural productivity and sustainability" Focus Area 3A, Application No. 5111598 - Lead Partner: Ri.Nova
The Project is aimed at developing operational supports for the enhancement and promotion of a highly sustainable olive-oil supply chain, through the assessment of the suitability of the "Olive Lands", the creation of a certification pathway of territorial sustainability, the analysis of the commercial potential of territorial oils and the definition of appropriate market positioning strategies.
