Matrices are monolithic devices for drug delivery control, usually manufactured by compression of a mixture of drug and polymeric excipients.The research lines in this field are devoted to the identification of new concepts for manufacturing, performance and behavior of pharmaceutical matrices.In particular the present research interest is on the so-called Dome Matrix®, to be used as modules in the construction of delivery systems characterized by flexibility of dose and adaptability to patient characteristics.For more information: Prof. P.
